This is just going to be a short blog post. As some of you may have noticed I haven’t been posting regularly for a while, which is largely due to exams. I have really enjoyed writing and posting this past semester and it makes me very happy to see the continued support for the site and my take on video games. So here is a HUGE thank you to all of you!
Now, the summer is almost upon us, I won’t be home much and therefore won’t be posting much over the holidays either. However, this will give me time to plan and research for more good stuff in the coming semester, so don’t despair. Posting Wednesdays and Sundays was a bit time consuming, but also a lot of fun, and I will try and keep this up. That means that you will once again see in-depth analyses of various indie games on Wednesdays, and some more general discussions fleshed out on Sundays. I also expect you will get a few more posts from Mikkel Hald, which is always a treat!
This is not all! As the final post of the semester, you can look forward to next week, where I will upload a paper written by Jens Kjeldgaard-Christiansen! Jens is gifted with an amazing mind and writes amazingly, so this will be a great read. He will be sharing his insights on “Video Games in a Culture of Convergence”. I will upload it Sunday this week, so stay tuned!
From me personally, there is no more to say than that I hope you all have an amazing summer, and I look forward to sharing more thoughts with you soon!
